Do not get panic if anyone plunged an iPhone into water, just follow few
simple steps and their device can be saved.

Do not turn on iPhone after getting contacted with
water damage or moisture. It can be the topmost reason of dead phone. If you
try to turn on device in moisture situation then it can cause short circuit
which will result in motherboard damage.

Try to put iPhone out as soon as possible from water
and wipe it away from outer side of phone.
·
A special 5 point screwdriver is available to remove
two bottom screws of iPhone. These are available for 4, 4s & 5 only.

Remove motherboard, battery and other components if
they are exposed to moisture or water damage.
·
Clean all those components with a solution contain
rubbing alcohol. But make sure you are doing it very carefully.
·
After cleaning, place all those components well inside
of closed plastic container for 24 to 48 hours with application of silica gel.
·
If back of iPhone is not possible to remove then place
entire phone in silica gel.
·
Reassemble all parts after removal from container and
turn it on. I will work. The recovery has success rate of 90-95%.
·
If the screen shows cloudy after turning on, it means
iPhone screen need to be replaced.
If still iPhone is not turning on, then visit to any apple productrepair store or authorized apple store.
